Blogs as current phenomenon & benefits to the community

In today’s world blog has become one of the popular medium for people to share their stories with other people across the globe. “A blog also called a weblog or web log is a website consisting of entries also called posts appearing in reverse chronological order with the most recent entry appearing first similar in format to a daily journal” (Gunelius 2012). Besides that, blogosphere is world of blog as the bloggers are the people that come from different countries in different world. The blogosphere is considered a defined community within the larger scope of the internet due to the unique ways they interlink with one another and to the wider internet (Janalta interactive Inc 2010).

Weblog has become a popular medium for American people to discuss about the politics issue in their country. There is also blogger in Malaysia tend to write more about the politic issue that has occurred. This is the trend of blogger nowadays using weblog to discuss political issues. Examining these effects in Malaysia allows me to simultaneously quantify blog effects and media control effects, whose interaction has practical implications for government policy and opposition strategy not just in Malaysia but also in other emerging democracies and developing nations (Gong n.d). In Australia they had their political weblog success. They are beginning to understand the benefits of using their website as a communication tool to maintain an on-going relationship with its supporters (William Pty limited 2012). Weblog in Malaysia also benefit the party because they can get the feedback from their supporters.
